What Is EECP?
EECP is FDA cleared and a non-surgical, regenerative therapy. When it was invented at Harvard University in the 1950s, it was a hydraulic system. Today, EECP is used to address degenerative cardiovascular diseases including stroke, coronary artery disease, angina pectoris, diabetes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, peripheral neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, and vascular disease—all of which have been known to functionally improve after several courses of EECP therapy. There are many more patient stories about how EECP has helped save lives and enhance quality of life.
Sara Soulati pioneered the Sara Soulati EECP Method featuring the Sara Soulati Health for Life Program after years of working alongside physicians. Her experience in medical anthropology and a focus on the root cause of cardiovascular disease helped her realize that cardiovascular disease is a lifestyle disease. Lifestyle medicine is the answer to prevention and reversal of cardiovascular disease.
The largest independent outpatient EECP centers are managed by Global Cardio Care.
