About Our Founder, Sara Soulati

Sara Soulati is one of the earliest pioneers in the field of EECP® therapy. Her career began in 1996, studying and practicing EECP technology while working at EECP West Inc. in Newport Beach California; the first and only EECP clinic in the U.S. other than Stony Brook University.

At this early stage in its history, EECP therapy was only being applied for end-stage cardiovascular disease. Sara discovered that EECP could be used for ALL cardiovascular disease and became the world’s first in the field to pioneer EECP therapy application towards the prevention and reversal of all cardiovascular disease. She designed a protocol to treat, stoke, diabetes, congestive heart failure, hypertension and renal failure as an effective therapy of any cardiovascular disease without side effects or the need for medications!

Sara was instrumental in introducing her signature EECP Method to the world of sports. In 1997, Sara began research to develop the only sports protocol for elite athletes featuring the Soulife Method. She studied and worked with the U.S. Olympic Sprint Team for speed and recovery times, and the L.A. Avengers Arena Football team for the study of girth measurement, range of motion, post-injury recovery and post-operative recovery.

Since then, Sara has treated a variety of professional athletes namely Sugar Shane Mosley, Laila Ali, Quincy Watts, and Shaquille O’Neal. She introduced the Soulaire Method and sold the first ever device to the Miami Heat, a professional sports team… who wound up winning a championship that same year.

In 1998, Sara began working in technology sales for three manufacturers selling one of the first EECP machines in the western United States, to Pritikin Wellness Institute in Southern California. In order to create a wave of support amongst physicians, Sara urged physicians to buy into the therapy so that people in Southern California would have broader access to EECP therapy.

In 1999, Sara was part owner and chief clinical officer of Cardiac Renewal Centers of America, the largest outpatient therapy center in the world with 10 clinics throughout Southern California (Encino to San Diego).

A vegan since 1989, Sara witnessed that her EECP method would only be part of the solution in keeping her clients from regressing to malady. She began to encourage her Soulife clients to additionally alter their own eating habits in order to promote an ongoing anti-inflammatory lifestyle. With each client that followed her encouragement, she noticed positive and lasting changes in their diabetes and hypertension conditions, reduction in chest pain and cholesterol levels, rapid healthy weight loss, and a dramatic impact in overall quality of life.

In 2001, Sara received funding from First A.M.E. Church and founded Global Cardio Care in 2002 after receiving recognition of the impact that her work would have on an urban community critically in need.

In 2003, Sara helped revolutionize the physician practice as a result of the lifestyle modification work she performed earlier in her career. She developed The Sara Soulati® Health For Life™ Program, a plant-based nutritional protocol that inspired the merger between the personal care physician and qualified EECP therapists. Her signature holistic, lifestyle-based approach altered the course of the health care model of that era. The clinical outcome of her program was so positive that Cedars Sinai and The University of Chicago Medicine gathered her data for submission and subsequent acceptance into a poster presentation by the American Heart Association and the Hypertension Society in September 2017. Her data is now pending peer-reviewed publication.

Sara’s loyalty and dedication to the prevention and reversal of cardiovascular disease remains unwavering and grows with each individual that she feels blessed to work with. Her training in nursing, medical anthropology and biology renders her a world-renowned expert in EECP, Soulife, and in how lifestyle changes can be utilized in the prevention and reversal of cardiovascular disease.

Sara has dedicated her entire life to the health of countless individuals and has witnessed what may qualify as sheer miracles throughout her tenure.

To this very day, she continues to change and impact lives through the philosophy that cardiovascular disease is, in actuality, a lifestyle illness that can be completely reversed and prevented.
